A Sierra Trading post in Santa Barbara, California, has shut down after an explosion Tuesday morning.
The company posted on Twitter that it was closing down at 7 a.m.
PT, just before 1:00 p.m., after being ordered by the Los Angeles County Fire Department to cease trading and to evacuate the building.
Sierra Trading is a popular and well-known online marketplace for home construction and renovation products.
The Sierra Trading posts are located in the historic downtown Santa Barbara section of the city.
Sierra said that it would provide additional information as it became available.
In a statement, the company said it had notified authorities of the incident and that it had begun to assess the damage and would respond as needed.
